Project IRIE: A Step Toward Jamaica’s Recovery

Project IRIE: A Step Toward Jamaica’s Recovery

When disaster hits home, the only way forward is together.

At Tunez Footwear, we’ve always believed that every step should have purpose — and right now, that purpose is clear: helping Jamaica rebuild. The devastation across Western Jamaica has left families without homes, schools, and basic necessities. Recovery is expected to take three to five years. But with unity, compassion, and action, we believe we can help cut that time in half.

That’s where Project IRIE: Relief for Jamaica comes in.

Walking With Jamaica, Not Just for It

Project IRIE is more than a donation campaign — it’s a movement built around people, purpose, and possibility.
Over the next 12 months, Tunez will use its platform to raise funds, provide essential goods, and deliver hope directly to affected communities.

At the center of it all is the IRIE shoe — designed with the strength and spirit of Jamaica in every stitch. Each purchase helps fund recovery efforts and, eventually, create new opportunities for Jamaicans to rebuild their own future.

The Plan: Three Phases of Purpose

This first year is focused on real results — practical, measurable, and impactful steps forward.

Phase 1: Relief (Months 1–4)
We’ll mobilize immediate funding and resources through IRIE preorders and donations to support urgent recovery efforts for families across Western Jamaica.

Phase 2: Rebuild (Months 5–8)
We’ll expand our impact by funding small community projects, increasing per-pair donations, and creating local opportunities that help restore stability and pride.

Phase 3+: Rise (Months 9–12+)
We’ll launch a Buy-One-Give-One model and explore pathways for long-term economic empowerment, including local training, jobs, and future production initiatives.

Each phase builds on the one before it — relief grows into rebuilding, and rebuilding becomes renewal.

Every Step Counts

Each IRIE shoe sold contributes directly to this mission.

  • Retail Price: $138.99

  • Launch Offer: 20% Off

  • Donation: Buy one, Give one

  • Goal: 5,000 pairs sold = $125,000+ donated + 5,000 shoes gifted

These numbers are not promises — they’re plans. This is a living initiative that will adapt and grow as support builds and partnerships form.

The Bigger Vision

As Project IRIE grows, so will its impact.
Once relief and rebuilding take root, we plan to explore establishing a small footwear assembly and training hub in Jamaica — creating jobs, developing skills, and fueling the local economy. It’s not an immediate goal, but it’s the direction we’re walking toward.

Because rebuilding isn’t just about structures — it’s about giving people the tools to stand tall again.

Join the Movement

We’re calling on everyone — individuals, communities, and the Jamaican diaspora — to walk with us.
Your purchase, your post, your share — it all matters.

Together, we can turn compassion into action and make Project IRIE a symbol of strength, resilience, and hope for Jamaica.

One step at a time, we rebuild Jamaica.
