Project IRIE: Relief For Jamaica

Project IRIE is our commitment to walk with Jamaica as it rebuilds. What began as a conversation of compassion has grown into a plan — a plan to use our platform, our product, and our purpose to fuel recovery for families and communities across the island.

Over the next 12 months, Tunez Footwear aims to connect hearts, hands, and resources through every pair of IRIEs sold. This is a developing initiative — one that will grow as support grows. Nothing here is set in stone; it’s a blueprint for how we can make a real impact, together.

The Plan — 12-Month Impact Outline

Phase 1: Relief

(Months 1–4)

In our first stage, we’ll launch the IRIE Relief Fund through product preorders and donations. Proceeds will support urgent relief needs in Jamaica — food, clothing, temporary housing, and school essentials.

Each purchase of an IRIE shoe contributes directly to these relief efforts. Our goal at this stage is simple: to generate an initial wave of support that will jumpstart the mission.

Once we secure the amount needed for a minimum order quantity (300 pairs), we will place the order for creation and delivery to each person who purchased a pair of shoes

Phase 2: Rebuild

(Months 5–8)

As support grows, the plan expands to include local rebuilding efforts — supporting small projects like school restoration, youth programs, or supplies for community centers.

This phase is about sustainability. With each milestone hit, the donation per shoe increases per pair once we reach 3,000 sold.

Our team will continue to document progress and highlight communities benefiting from the initiative.

Phase 3+: Rise

(Months 9–12 and beyond)

Once we hit the 5,000-pair milestone, we plan to launch a Buy-One-Give-One model — for every purchase, one pair goes directly to survivors.

If this model proves successful, we’ll extend Project IRIE beyond the first year — continuing donations, expanding employment through local distribution, and developing youth partnerships tied to the movement.

The “+” signifies that this isn’t a one-year promise — it’s the start of a long-term mission to help Jamaica walk tall again.
